These top 10 posts are a little bit tiresome, but in case anyone out there wants to know which tools the developers of Delphic Sage hold near and dear to their hearts, I bring you the following list:

  1. Visual Studio (or Eclipse)
  2. SQL Server Management Studio
  3. SVN / Visual SVN / Tortoise
  4. SQL Compare (with Command Line)
  5. jQuery
  6. FireBug
  7. Cruise Control
  8. NAnt / Ant
  9. Fiddler
  10. YSlow

Most of these tools are free....some are not. Either way, I feel that these tools are a fair representation of how much web development has changed in the past few years. Now, if only the browsers could keep up we could really start to make some progress!

Happy Holidays from Delphic Sage!

Yesterday, you may have received an e-card from Delphic Sage in your inbox wishing you and your family a Happy Holiday.

In the spirit of giving this holiday seasion, Delphic Sage participated in the Adopt-A-Family program through the Greater Phila Cares organization. Delphic Sage was appointed a single mom who had been recently unemployed and her two children in need of holiday gifts. Greater Phila Cares receives requests from smaller organizations throughout the greater Philadelphia area that need help during the holiday season. The family Delphic Sage "adopted" came from Bebashi Transition to Hope,  a full-service HIV/AIDS case management agency with a special interest in serving low-income people of color with HIV disease. After weeks of collecting gifts, and a gift wrapping party, it came time to deliver the gifts to Bebashi. We were excited to learn that this single mother was recently hired after receiving job training from Bebashi - the best Holiday gift of all!

Delphic Sage Group Outing: Fall 2008

The place: Arnolds Family Fun Center. Yeah, sounds like a little kid place right? well it definitely is. But they have some pretty fun things to do there AND they have some sweet go-carts! We were anxious to get out there and burn some rubber (and literally, there was rubber flying around on the track as we were zipping around). If you go when its not busy (during the week) you pretty much get free reign of the track and I think they will let at least 10-12 cars on the track at a time. The run time is about 15 minutes which is a good amount of time and if you buy the standard 20 points, it gets you 2 runs and access to the buffet! Fun times! took me back to the old days of pizza parties at the roller skating rink. We had a blast! Check the pics...
