Project Overview
The American Association for Cancer Research is a professional society of more than 24,000 laboratory and clinical scientists engaged in basic, translational, and clinical cancer research in the United States and more than 60 other countries. AACR looked to Philadelphia web design and development firm Delphic Sage to redesign their web site and develop a custom content management solution to better promote brand awareness, differentiate from the competition and further entrench the organization as a leading authority in cancer research.
We provided a decentralized content management solution, which included eCommerce integration and an elegant visual design, in support of AACR's target audience. The site architecture supports large, diverse organization structure and heavy content cross referencing. Deployment on sophisticated hardware architecture enables efficient management of traffic and volume spikes. Additionally, connections to existing custom and 3rd party applications leverage existing investments. Finally, personalization allows users to create custom views into the organization.
